Sydney Taxis are ripping you off.
Ask them to drive SMOOTHLY when you get in and watch their RPM gauge to see if they are using the break unnecessarily.
They are forcing the meter up with unnecessary breaking and accelerating. they trick their meter into charging you distance as well as ‘waiting time’. Waiting time is what you pay when you are in traffic standing still. you will also notice they ‘bump’ forward while at the lights. this also tricks the meter into charging both rates.
This is hilarious.
Fairdale is so ahead of the curve. Knowing that a front-loaded backing on a high-trail bike can be dangerous, these guys developed the first Dograck.
